Annabel Pizzata

Annabel is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team at Irdi Legal, where she specialises in estate-related matters, with a particular emphasis on contentious estate disputes. This is a nuanced and highly sensitive area of practice and Annabel is committed to guiding clients through challenging and often emotional circumstances with clarity, care and confidence.

Annabel was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in September 2020. She began her legal career gaining broad experience across insolvency, banking and finance, dispute resolution and commercial law, before most recently working at a leading law firm specialising exclusively in estates.

Annabel has expertise across all aspects of estate law, including estate litigation and family provision claims, estate planning, and estate administration. She is known for her pragmatic, steady approach and places a strong emphasis on honesty. Her goal is to provide clear, practical advice and to assist her clients through difficult circumstances.

Before entering the legal profession, Annabel developed a strong foundation in strategy and planning. These skills continue to shape her legal practice, enabling her to deliver thoughtful, forward focused advice and practical solutions tailored to her clients’ objectives.

Outside of practice, Annabel is a parent to two young children and an avid reader of modern literary fiction. Both experiences have shaped her thoughtful perspective and strengthened her capacity to approach complex, high pressure matters with empathy and pragmatism.
