Aleisha Genoni

Lawyer

Aleisha is a Lawyer in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team. Having worked across multiple departments at Irdi Legal over several years, she brings a well-rounded perspective to achieving practical outcomes for her clients.

After graduating from Murdoch University with distinction, Aleisha was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2024. She is a thoughtful and detail-oriented practitioner, who brings a pragmatic approach to resolving complex disputes.

Since commencing work at Irdi Legal in 2020, Aleisha has gained valuable experience across the firm’s property and estates teams. This cross-departmental background gives her a holistic understanding of the law and how different legal issues intersect in the course of litigated proceedings.

Aleisha appears regularly in the District Court of Western Australia. She has also advised on a number of applications in the Supreme Court and the State Administrative Tribunal, including applications under the Trustees Act.

Aleisha has developed a strong understanding of church structure and policy through her institutional abuse work. She understands how religious institutions operate at both a local and national level. This enables her to navigate sensitive claims with clarity, precision and discretion.

Outside of work, Aleisha is part of the Ngala Consumer Advisory Group and serves on the Tingara Netball Club Committee.
