With over 40 years of legal experience, Anna leads Irdi Legal’s Dispute Resolution and Litigation team. She is renowned for delivering clear, practical and strategic advice grounded in a deep understanding of her clients’ unique needs.
Anna has worked both as a litigator and a commercial lawyer over her career. As a litigator she has dealt with civil commercial litigation, native title and heritage matters, personal injury, complex contract litigation and other common law claims.
As a commercial lawyer Anna has advised entities operating in the mining and IT sectors on commercial tender processes, drafted and negotiated contracts and helped to resolve a variety of disputes.
Anna has appeared in State Courts, the Federal Court and the High Court and served as the instructing solicitor for a number of Royal Commissions and Statutory Inquires. She has been a director of various entries, including a public listed mining company, and was a member of the legal regulatory body in Western Australia for over 20 years. These experiences allow her to better appreciate the nature of services clients seek and to build relationships with clients which are founded upon trust and respect.
Today, Anna’s practice focuses on Church-specific litigation and high-level advisory work, complex trust and commercial litigation and on helping businesses and government authorities navigate compliance and governance issues.
A natural problem-solver, Anna believes that true success is built on understanding her client’s organisation and its objectives. She finds practical solutions which ensure long term success. She takes pride in guiding her clients through complex, often stressful legal challenges with confidence and clarity.
