Libby is a skilled precedents lawyer with a background in commercial and family law. She has extensive experience supporting large commercial law firms by developing and maintaining firm-wide precedent systems.
Libby graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Jurisprudence in 1988 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1989. In 1991, she was admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Libby has worked collaboratively with knowledge managers, IT specialists, all levels of legal professionals and support staff in devising efficient precedent management solutions and strategies to encourage contributions to precedent databases. Her experience also includes creating and updating suites of precedents in liaison with specific practice groups, managing the migration of precedents to a new document management system and training lawyers and legal support staff on the efficient use of precedent databases.
Libby now works with our Litigation practice providing general assistance and undertaking research projects.
