Prior to joining IRDI Legal, Richard was for many years a partner of McCusker and Harmer, Solicitors, advising their major client, Town & Country WA Building Society on a wide range of issues including securities, property development and real estate sales.

Richard advises on and drafts documents in the areas of commercial law, conveyancing, settlements, pharmacy law and securities.

Richard also gives advice and assistance to IRDI Settlements as well as other settlement agencies.

Richard also assists Gus Irdi in the pharmacy law area and prepares and advises on leases, business contracts and other commercial documents.

Richard has worked as a senior lawyer with IRDI Legal since 1997.

A graduate in Law from Melbourne University, Richard was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 1973 and worked for many years as a partner with McCusker and Harmer Solicitors.
